I just finished reading an article in Computerworld. They surveryed 100 recruiters and 77 of them said that they had researched their applicants on the web. 51% of those surveryed said that they did not hire someone based on what they had found.
 
I did some Googling on myself and posted about what I found.

It has been awhile. Sorry I haven't' been keeping up with the website. Work, school and the new house have been kicking my butt. I do have several good topics in my head to talk about including but not limited to 90's apparal and comfort food. Actually because of school I've really been in the writting mood. I've started writting on my novel, "Empty Houses, Vacant Basments" again. See as 4 of the main characters actually frequent the board, I'll maybe post the first chapter when its finished.
 
In unrelated news I picked up some sweet ass toys this weekend. On mother's day I went down to Purdue to see my sister-in-law graduate the Pharmacy program. Also down there was her fiance Nate from Arizona. Nate is a cool dude and asked me if I wanted some Japanese transformers. Like I can even say no. Check out the pics in the forum here.

To prove that I'm actually working on the site, I have updated the Shops page. I have my little Doom Head ranking system. The ranking can go from a quarter head to 5 heads. Currently I am working on a layout for individual store pages that have, but are not limited to: inside store pics, store history, owner bio, retail items ..etc. Also I am working on a user comment section for the individual store pages so all of you can give your opinions on the individual stores.

I suggest upgrading your browser. Here are the links for
Fire Fox 2.0.0.3 and Opera 9.1. I would offer up IE7, but there are prerequisites in Windows before downloading.
